Kitchen Hood Technician

The Kitchen Hood Technician will be responsible for the installation, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, and ventilation systems. This role requires a strong understanding of kitchen ventilation systems and a commitment to following safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide professional, high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, and fans
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen hoods and ventilation systems to prevent grease buildup and ensure proper functioning
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with kitchen ventilation systems
• Ensure compliance with fire safety codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Perform inspections and make recommendations for necessary repairs or upgrades
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and client communications
• Work closely with clients to explain issues and provide solutions
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
